GUEST WIFI POLICY
Make guest access easy—and safe.
WiFi details are optional and are publicly visible whenever a business enables the WiFi page.
Business responsibility
The business is responsible for the network name, password, router, internet service, acceptable-use rules, and permission to share the credentials. Use a guest network, not an internal or sensitive network.
No automatic connection
Phones and browsers do not allow a website to silently join WiFi. Tapline can show a QR code and copy controls, but visitors choose whether to connect. Tapline does not guarantee compatibility, speed, security, or availability.
Rotate or remove access
Change the password at the router when needed and remove the WiFi page from the business profile. Do not publish credentials that grant access to private devices, payment systems, cameras, or staff resources.
